     My main desire is to experience a culture that is very remote from the Anglo-European cultures I know.  I plan to document Jeanette Samter’s (also refered to as Grandma Samter) experiences in Lesotho, Africa.  Lesotho is a mountainous country landlocked by South Africa.  I’m curious to see if there are cultural similarities between the Swiss, the Tibetan, and the Besotho.  As well as Samter’s affect and effect upon the indigenous people. 
      Samter has been in Lesotho for over 20 years, starting as a Peace Corp volunteer, and then remaining in Lesotho performing missionary work for a parish in Hamburg, NY, as well as teaching math to school children.
     My secondary mission is to tour South Africa allowing the wind to move me, and to document my progress.
